Brake Team
Starts Brake Safety Campaign with Free Brake Lights
Brake Lights
Replaced for Free at All Brake Team Locations
Portland, OR:
Brake Team Portland is giving free brake light
replacements for all privately-owned vehicles in the
Portland and Vancouver metropolitan area until the end of
the year. The Brake Brothers, owners of Brake Team, are
embarking on a brake safety educational campaign at all
local Brake Team locations.
“Brake Team is very concerned about the safety of
children. With school newly started, it is vital that
people handle any brake issues on their cars to keep our
children safe. Many people forget to replace their brake
lights. We are replacing the brake lights for everyone at
no charge to commemorate the need for brake safety.”
stated Patrick, the new owner of Brake Team
“It is also disheartening to see so many people get
pulled over just because their brake tail lights are out.
We would like to be able to save people the hassle while,
of course, keeping them safe,” he said.
There are five Brake Team franchises in the greater
Portland metropolitan area: in Tigard, Aloha, Gresham,
Vancouver, and SE 82nd
Avenue in
Portland.
“We want to make a positive mark in our community by
finding ways to improve the quality of life here. We will
continue to find creative activities, like implementing
brake safety awareness, to fulfill that objective,”
stated Phil Walby, one of the Brake Brothers.
Brake Team recently reopened under new management with
Pat and Phil, the Brake Brothers. The Brake Brothers have
generated a reputation of high customer service and a
focus on customer education for nearly 20 years. They
were voted the Number One Best Brake Shop and awarded the
Total Excellence in Management Award by Ken Blanchard,
author of the One
Minute Manager.
The Brake
Brothers achieved the favorite brake shop designation
with a 99.5 percent approval rating. Their companies have
repaired nearly one million vehicles.
